Lifting One Voice for Literacy & Adult Education

Audience
Marble Surface

NYACCE advocates on the behalf of adult continuing and community education programs.  As soon as the pandemic began, programs worked hard to make changes in services delivery and to offer a wide range of supports to New Yorkers.  After billions of dollars were received by NYS for educational pandemic assistance, adult education programs and their students were left behind.  All available funds for education were directed to the P-12 and higher education systems, and none went to support adult education programs and students across New York State.
